This oil painting was made on behalf of the YARA PROJECT, a project where my art helps fund reusable menstrual kits for impoverished women in Lebanon. Therefore, 80% goes directly towards this project against period poverty. Fatima, here with her daughter, is the current seamstress creating all the menstrual kits.
